Who It’s For

Save & Mobilize is primarily designed for professionals and organizations that use, apply, or communicate research on sexual abuse and violence. This includes researchers, clinicians, justice-system professionals, policymakers, educators, community organizations, and media professionals, with some resources also intended for broader public audiences.

The intended audience will vary depending on the resource. Some materials may focus on professional training or the use of specific assessment tools, while others may be designed to explain research findings or complex topics to broader audiences.

What We’re Developing

Save & Mobilize is being developed to share SAVE Lab research and clinical-forensic expertise in formats that are practical, accessible, and appropriate for different audiences.

Research & Evidence

Clear explanations of research findings, methods, and emerging evidence related to sexual abuse and violence, including the strengths, limitations, and practical implications of the research.

Training & Practical Guidance

Resources to support professionals in understanding and applying clinical-forensic knowledge, including guidance on assessment tools, their appropriate use, interpretation, limitations, and common areas of misunderstanding.

Public Understanding

Accessible resources that explain complex or sensitive topics, address common misconceptions, and support more accurate and responsible public discussion of sexual abuse and violence.

Our Approach

Save & Mobilize aims to communicate research and clinical-forensic knowledge in ways that are accurate, practical, respectful, and clear about the limits of the evidence.

Our resources will aim to:

• reflect the best available evidence and clearly distinguish research findings from interpretation or opinion;

• communicate the appropriate use, limitations, and context of assessment tools and other professional resources;

• avoid stigmatizing, sensationalized, or unnecessarily technical language;

• make complex information easier to understand without oversimplifying it; and

• support responsible use of research in practice, policy, education, and public discussion.

Save & Mobilize is currently in development. We are working toward creating a growing collection of videos, training materials, research explainers, and other resources that support the responsible use and communication of clinical-forensic research.
