SAVE AND MOBILIZE
Coming Soon…
SAVE & Mobilize (S&M) is the SAVE Lab’s knowledge mobilization initiative. We aim to make research on sex and violence accessible, understandable, and useful to professionals, policymakers, and the broader public.
Our Purpose
S&M supports the SAVE Lab’s broader mission of preventing sexual abuse and violence. By sharing research and clinical-forensic expertise in accessible formats, we aim to support informed approaches to assessment, intervention, prevention, and policy.
Who It’s For
Our intended audiences include clinicians, corrections and justice-system professionals, policymakers, and members of the public, including people affected by the justice system. We aim to develop resources that connect with audiences’ different backgrounds, questions, and needs.
What We’re Developing
Our planned content includes educational videos, research explainers, and other resources that focus on:
- Understanding research: Explaining findings and key concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Connecting research with practice: Exploring what evidence means for assessment, intervention, and violence prevention.
- Supporting public understanding: Bringing research-informed perspectives to conversations about sex and violence.
Our Approach
We aim to communicate research clearly while preserving its context, complexity, and limitations. Our approach is guided by dignity, equity, safety, and respect, with an emphasis on helping audiences engage thoughtfully with sensitive topics.
Our materials are currently in development. Videos and resources will be shared as they become available.
